Coming weeks after Sony Inc. launched some new smartphones in the Xperia series, the tech company has introduced some of its new smartphones officially into the Indian market today.
One of the phones in the Xperia series introduced into the Indian market today is the Xperia XA1 Plus coming after the Xperia XZ1 was unveiled some hours ago.
The Xperia XA1 Plus will sell for about $384 in India and will be available at retail stores starting September 22.
A quick recap of the specs reveals that the mid-range device from Sony comes to market packing a 5.5-inch display with resolution pegged at 1,080pixels.
Under the hood, the device comes running on the MediaTek Helio P20 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB ROM which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
For optics, the Xperia XA1 Plus comes packing a 23MP camera unit in the back panel equipped with Sony’s SteadyShot digital image stabilization for videos while the front panel plays host to an 8MP sensor.
Other features of the Xperia XA1 Plus include a fingerprint scanner, USB-C connectivity, dual SIM support and the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS all powered by a 3,430mAh battery equipped with fast charging support.
