Ahead of the official release of the Huawei Mate 10 device, the tech company has just recently confirmed that the quad camera Miamang 6 smartphone which leaked online some days ago will in fact be the Huawei Mate 10 Lite instead of the earlier speculated G10.
The tech company further confirmed that the Mate 10 will come into the market in a total of four flavours.
This comes after reports indicated that the Mate 10, codenamed Marcel will come possibly in three variants including the Mate 10 Pro, Standard Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Lite.
The tech company revealed that the Mate 10 Pro owns the Blanc codename and will come with a 5.9-inch AMOLED display with QHD resolution and a dual Leica camera setup on the back panel.
The Mate 10 will however feature an IPS LCD display with a 1,080pixel resolution and keep the same camera specs as the Mate 10 Pro. This variant according to the tech company is the Alps variant.
The Mate 10 Lite which was spotted earlier as the Rhone will however lose the Leica camera present in the first two variants and possibly come with a different chipset.
The final variant, Marcel, will come as this year’s Porsche Design and is expected to combine the premium specs on the Mate 10 Pro model with a premium exterior design.
