Reports had it that WhatsApp could have the stories feature which allows users to share photos and videos with their contacts that disappear after 24 hours. This feature is currently on Snapchat and as we all know that both Whatsapp Instagram and Snapchat is owned by Facebook, the reports suggest that Facebook wants to introduce the feature across the board. But we not sure how it will work or if it will be linked to a user’s Instagram or Facebook account or have separate stories for Whatsapp.
These WhatsApp stories feature is of advantage to people as users can tell a story about their entire day in a narrative manner through stories and give friends a brief look at what interesting things a friend has done in the past 24 hours.

As many new changes continue to stream in for the app, it is also said that users will also be able to reply to the statuses and have conversations like it is being done on snap chat. Alos the rumors continue that Whatsapp might introduce a feature that allows users to share their live location with a specified audience for a brief time or indefinitely depending on the user preference.
Also, the WhatsApp stories feature app has been tipped to get a separate tab for statuses, joining the existing chats, calls and contacts tab on the Android platform.
